The Portarlington foreshore café building provides expansive views across Port Phillip Bay nestled on the lower foreshore. The current 5-year lease and accompanying licence area for outdoor dining will expire on 30 November 2024 and Bellarine Bayside is seeking to continue the service offer at the site through a new lease and licence.
Guided by the Leasing Policy for Victorian Crown Land 2023, an Expression of Interest process for the future lease is now open for experienced café operators to submit a proposal that will continue to provide visitors with outstanding dining experiences on the foreshore. The offer information and application can at Portarlington Foreshore Cafe.
The EOI process is open from 18 June 2024, closing at AEST 4:00pm, 19 July 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.
